I think that this look is my fave. I always wanted to wear leggings as pants...:-) It's my interpretation of menswear. The shirt has a picture of a vest imprinted on it, so I threw a blazer over it and added the bowtie necklace to seal the deal. I wore the white camisole underneath the tee to break up the black and bring out the white in the tee and blazer, and also to cover my backside! No leggings without long tops! I chose grey boots to break up the monotone colors as well.
Might be the best deal yet!
After the Kullison 2 fashion show...I had sooo much fun that night...Some of the other models and I were headed to the official afterparty that we couldn't get into because we were underage...figure that. Anywho, I personally think that my hair made the outfit. You know how you got your hair done once and it was your favorite, never to be recreated again??? This is one of those times.
Funny story behind this one...I was modeling in a fashion show for a t-shirt designer, didn't have any jeans, and the only jeans I could find were my friend's that were two sizes too big! So, I had to tweak the look a little bit...rolled up the pants and looped my necklace through as a chain, slapped on my pearls (my signature), and this cool headband that resembles a top hat and...KABLAM! Accessories really make the difference for this look. I had to walk this scene without makeup, but hey, it was all in the name of improvisation...
Because I like bright colors and funky patterns, my secret to getting dressed is to always have a coordinating feature for each element of my outfit. Without coordinating components, it's would be very easy for my outfits to look chaotic because there is too many focal points. In Look #1 (above), I emphasized the metallic silver element in my shoes, jeans, and top. I also added silver jewelry for accents. Because my outfit was fairly monochromatic, I added the yellow jacket to give it flavor. My jeans were the dominant focal point of my outfit and everything else worked around them.
