Word on the street is that Frida Giannini wants to launch a couture line under the Gucci label. To become a couturier, however, one must be certified by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Currently, there are 11 official members; membership is very exclusive. Only couture labels shown in Paris can officially be called 'Haute Couture.' Giannini said that she would show her line by appointment only for red carpet A-listers.
