Here is some footage of my latest work! This is the promotional photoshoot for an upcoming fashion show that I'm working on. Fashion Elite Modeling Organization of Columbia College Chicago presents "Fashion Take-off" Friday, March 4, 2011, 1104 S. Wabash, 7p!

The clothing was styled using a color palette of black, grey, blue, red and pink. My vision was to do an edgy, urban, everyday look. One of my favorite looks is Jasmine's blue/black colorblocked ensemble. Sequined leggings and pumps can transform a casual cardigan! I also love Eariel's look...a going out dress turned business chic by adding a blazer w/leather accents...

I can't wait to see the professional pics. Just wanted to give you guys a sneak peak! :-)

Class of 2010 Fashion Show

A few pictures from the "Class of 2010" Fashion Show that I produced on behalf of Ken Patrick Photography and BeauIdeal. It was definitely good experience and great preparation for "Fashion Statement." Much thanks to Jessica and Ninah for doing makeup, as well as Aeleise for styling hair. Also, I want to thank Chanecia of Recreations by Chanecia and Allan Lee and Ebony of Cemipar Clothing for showcasing their designs. We can only go up from here!!!

NO LONGER M.I.A....I'M BACK! :-)

I know...I just disappeared for a VERY long time. You all will be happy to know that I'm involving myself in tons of cool stuff to share with you. I recently started interning for Tamika Martell of A-Line Style Services. It has been an AMAZING opportunity that has exposed me to plenty of hands-on work in the fashion industry. My first event was the "Dear Summer..." Fashion Show. It was hectic, but I loved every bit of it. I helped to style the runway looks...I will post pics when I get my hands on some!

Another awesome opportunity that I had working for Tamika Martell was doing a wardrobe consultation for "Showbiz Shelly" of B96! We put together 10-12 looks for her everyday wear and upcoming events. She offered us tickets to the B96 Summer Bash, but I wasn't able to go...:-/

I also made a cameo appearance in the makeover video that Tamika put together along with Rose O. (MUA) and Aeleise J. (hair stylist)! I have to give mad props to Raphah Anderson of Irvboy Entertainment for filming, directing and editing the piece. To see the finished product,

What's next?!!! A back-to-school fashion spread that I'm writing for
Goddess Magazine!!! Exciting right???! Big things poppin' and little things stoppin'! =D

Stephanie's Grand Finale!

Shopping. The only thing missing is the stunna shades! We tried a couple things with this look. First, we tried the shirt on the shoulders with a necklace as opposed to earrings. Then, we tried metallic pumps instead of flats. Trial and error. You have to play around until you get a look you love! The color spectrum is what really does it for me. Each of the bangles and the earrings reflect a color in the top. The metallic flats and brown satchel add depth to the look by taking away some of the "brightness." Time to hit the town!

Stephanie, Ooh La LA!!!

Dinner on a beautiful summer evening at sunset. Turquoise with white and gold accents.

Stephanie....!!!

I think this look would be cool for the step show! Patent leather accents in the shoes, belt and clutch. Animal print earrings for flare. Bangles. Big ring. There you go!

Not Me...It's Stephanie, One More Time!!!

Girly, girl. Stephanie recently pledged AKA and has a ton of events coming up. This would be cute for a nice dinner or Saturday affair. The necklace brought the dress and the shoes together because the beads in the gold chain are purple and pink. I added the colored bangles to accent the necklace. Because Stephanie has short hair, larger earrings work well. I chose gold earrings to offset the color and compliment the gold chain.
When blending colors, you want to see the colors in multiple places across the look. That's how you wear tons of color without looking like Bozo. If it's in your bottom half, you want it to be in your top half, at least 2-3 places even if only hints. It makes your look cohesive.
Also, the reason why my style is so versatile is because I create "looks." In saying that I mean that you have a clear image of what mood the look communicates to you. I chose those shoes for the dress because the ruffles and bows were a good match.
