sent the emails to my senators. Is there a way of sending it to the Senators Grassley, Harkin, Sanders themselves letting them know that we do not agree with their policies??

As needhelp said earlier, the damage is done. This is really shameful on the part of CNN. Maybe its a coordinated effort by the Lou Dobbs production team to equate our issues with H1B. This philosophy trickles down and freelance writers end up subscribing to that ideology giving betsy ross and her hateful group a nice platform for them to launch their attacks on us or spread even more misinformation.
One thing I started doing was identifying texts in the comments section of any news article post related to high skilled immigration. It looks like ALIPAC or one of those hate groups have a concentrated effort for members to post the same message in the comments section of any media article that is sympathetic to our predicament. We need to identify these posters and the messages - maybe it all comes from one user posting the same set of stock messages with different names.

I disagree with you. Per my calculation USCIS should have at-least 158k application with PD 2002 and 2003 (all chargeability, all cat). And yes I have arrived at this number after deducting already approved EB2 and EB3 numbers.
If you do INDIA:CHINA:MEXICO :: 40:30:30 ratio.
The break up of outstanding I485 looks like this
India :- 64k
China :- 47K
Mexico:- 47K

Yes that is true. Impact for US companies are minimal and in fact good for US companies and more disadvantage for Indian companies. Mainly those who are running just by H1b persons will have tough time. Actually many small US consulting companies went out of business because they were not able to compete with Indian companies because of H1B.

New york city--- Desi Companies will be affected. They will not be able bring H1-B.
CDI, RCG, Bearing Point, Datanomics, .... ..... ... .. there are 1000s of middle vendor which supply the Desi labor to the Wall street companies and more.

With restriction...desi cannot bring H1-B..the middle vendors are screwed and hence the clients. Due you have an idea how many Indians work for the financial companies that are not a direct hire.

Another reason for the slow movement is people getting married.. a spouse potentially accounts for yet another visa number and this adds to the unpredictability of the system. It gets even worse with non-US born kids.

This if enacted will get all the so called "non-desi" employees/employers. Remember in last one year there was no major employer without layoffs.
